Custom Crochet Pet Portraits are a great way to celebrate your furry friend and have a piece of art inspired by them that you can cherish forever.
Using yarn to crochet portraits creates a three dimensional, detailed, and unique piece that really makes your furry friend come to life. The texture of the yarn mimics the appearance of your pet's fur and creates a realistic portrait, making a perfect focal point for any room.
This pet portrait includes a one of a kind, custom crochet portrait of your pet created from an image you will select. This portrait comes with the proper hardware attached to the back so it can be easily hung on a wall.
SIZE MEDIUM DIMENSIONS:
*Medium: approximately 15” x 20”
*Due to the nature of crocheting a portrait, sizes vary. Size is all dependent on the quality and dimensions of your photo and whether or not it needs to be cropped and adjusted to achieve the best results.

HOW TO ORDER
1. Select a background color from the drop down menu.
2. If you would like a custom background color, select “custom color”.
3. Once you click “add to cart”, fill out the form that will automatically pop up. Here, you will attach photos of your pet and describe your custom background color in the “comments” section (if applicable).
*Even if you have one specific picture you would like crocheted, it is helpful for me to see multiple photos so I get a better idea of what your pet looks like. If you do have a favorite, feel free to let me know in the form and I will give that photo top priority. However, some pictures translate better than others when turned into a crochet portrait, so it is also helpful to have multiple pictures to work with in order to pick the best fit. I will confirm with you via email which photo looks best before I begin crocheting.
NEXT STEPS
*Once I receive the pictures of your pet, I will begin editing them to determine what will translate best through crochet. I will provide you with 3-4 mockup examples via the email you provide in the pop up form. Once we agree on which mockup will look the best, I will begin crocheting!
TIPS FOR CHOOSING A PHOTO
*Photos that are taken at your pet’s eye level and are facing forward will allow me to create the best drawing and capture your pet’s facial characteristics. 3/4 views and profile views work as well.
*Good lighting will also allow me to see your pet’s fur texture and I will be able to better represent that in the portrait. Close up, clear images without blur or grain are also great.
